1958 Welland-Crowland Switsons

In 1958, the St. Catharines Athletics were transplanted to nearby Welland and the "Gus" Madsen coached team would capture the senior Ontario Lacrosse Association crown in their inaugural season in the Rose City. But despite their on-floor success, the team didn't win over many new fans in their new location and would return to a rebuilt Haig Bowl in St. Catharines for the summer of 1960.
